Over the past quarter-century, I’ve immersed myself in both the technical and business worlds. From diving into the intricate realms of software development to being a board director of various businesses, it’s been quite the journey.

In the early 2000s, I volunteered many hours each week assisting people on forums. During this time, I developed a free series of tools for parents to manage apps on their childrens’ devices, which received over 100,000 dowloads. This lead to a Microsoft MVP recognition which I held for four years.

My time at e4education was transformative. It was more than just a role; it was a series of lessons. From starting in a Software Development role. I initiated the creation of the technical support team, ensuring client queries were handled promptly. I then transitioned into spearheading project management processes, streamlining how we ensured our customers projects were delivered on time and on budget. Eventually, my journey led me to the role of CTO. Here, my technical knowledge meshed seamlessly with the intricate workings of business operations, allowing me to bring innovations to the forefront while maintaining the ethos of the company.

Over the years, my collaborations with tech start-ups have been particularly rewarding. Taking a founder’s vision and translating it into a feasible technical outline. Staying aligned with their aspirations, while respecting budget constraints, has been crucial. The recent successful MVP launch for Sixty is a testament to this approach, resulting in the start of a lasting partnership.

Now, with Fix4Future, along with my co-founder John, our shared mission is crystal clear. It’s about guiding businesses, drawing from our experiences, and ensuring they’re geared up for not just today, but tomorrow and beyond.
